A tragic explosion of the Space Shuttle Columbia claimed the lives of 7 brave astronauts. The crew consisted of 5 Americans, 1 Indian-American, and 1 Israeli. The shuttle was coming back to the U.S. from the International Space Station when it blew up over Texas, just about 16 minutes away from its final destination in Florida.
