Welcome to the Student Support Center!

We pride ourselves on creating a positive learning environment that promotes the academic and social emotional, and behavioral growth of all.  Charlotte Central School is proud to be a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) school.  PBIS is a framework for preventing and responding to problem behavior within a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS).  To support this effort, we are committed to taking care of ourselves, taking care of others, and taking care of this place (CCS), our three school-wide expectations for all within our learning community.

Be the Change Expectations

Highlights of what we are teaching our students this year:

  • Think before you speak and ask yourself, “is what I’m about to say kind and helpful?"

  • Show kindness and respect across all settings and with all people

  • Stand up & speak up when you see or hear things that are not kind

We believe that parents, guardians and community members are valued partners in fostering a safe and caring learning environment at CCS.  Get involved! Come to school events! We welcome you!
