Step #3 - Purpose: To develop an understanding of some of the important people, events, and issues at the time our nation was growing.
Read each of the articles on this web site, in order, with 1 partner and complete the packet of quizzes in your folder. Complete the quiz for each article when you are done reading it. If you are not sure of an answer highlight the number of the question (just the number). Skip that question and go on and answer the rest. When you have done your very best to answer all the questions, go back to the article; correct your answers and answer the questions you got stuck on. Not all articles have a quiz. Be sure that you do not skip these articles just because there is no quiz. You and your partner should work together on each article and quiz.
